TT shake up in America will take time
I would be looking for a Taiwan hobby shop that ships. I don't think TT is the problem, they have new facilities. It's sorting out the American distribution thing that will take time. Let's just hope HRP is serious about helicopters and not just an r/c car company jumping on the toy quad craze and bought TT to do it.

It's very understandable to be upset...
I almost pulled the trigger and bought a G4. The hobby shop was out of stock at the time and then this! No nitros available.

I had this happen with MA. I bought 5 of their Whiplashes and bam! Closed! And now Heliproz is closing! If this keeps up, I may get out of the hobby all together. No sense inversting thousands of dollars only to have XYZ company close up the next month!

I hear what your saying

I have been out more or less for a while
Only flew a few tanks each year in the last couple of years
Do to other interests
My intention was to get serious this spring
do to having more free time
BUT
Now I find out I have obsolete toys with little to no support
At present I own 3 raptors only 1 flyable
1 M.A. not flyable
2 Bergens 1 gasser 1 nitro both need lots of parts
and 1 Hirobo Freya that is flyable

At the present time it looks like only the Hirobo has any parts support thru VRC and RC Japan

The rest appear/are useless expensive paper weights

I am looking at the Synergy copters N5/n7 or both
but they are a small family biz
and if they have any health or fill in the blank---- problems
then what

There is risk involved with every thing
but this hobby is really unstable lately

You can buy the parts directly from Thunder Tiger @ Taiwan and the parts are tracked right to your doorstep. To date they've had every part that was ordered. I'm still flying all my Raptors and not worried about spares.

I'm not worried about parts either.
I love Raptors and the parts flow should open up soon larger than ever.
I have spare air frames and parts.
Even if the G4.1N doesn't reemerge as a kit, the parts should be around for a long time. Tower made it look like Thunder Tiger was throwing in the towel. That was really misleading.

X50 and G4 parts are beginning to be listed at HRP, none in stock though.

E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

Basically about a gazzilion TT parts across the entire spectrum of fixed and surface models are being uploaded into the HRP system. It takes time.
They just reactivated the US team, so we should be able to provide more info on timeline shortly.

I don't think it's a valid comparison between what has happened with TT's distribution and the demise of brands and shops.

I sure enjoy my X50, and didn't like how Tower misled most of us with their "discontinued" BS throughout the season. Had many of us thinking TT was giving up nitro.

I hope Ron Lund comes out on top with TT parts. He will be my sole supplier for all things TT if/when that happens.

HRP show a lot of signs of not having anything together.
Thunder Tiger better look into it.

Wrote today 2/5/15
Due to the ports going on strike right now our parts are going to take longer to get here. This may be a delay up to 3-4 weeks. So we are told time frame on the parts would be around 6-8 weeks out. With that said we do have tower hobbies sending us what they had in stock in there warehouse but they have just started packing it up. This should take about 2 weeks or so.

Ron's Heliproz should carry parts are soon as we have stock.

Thank you

Helicraft has old Raptor parts. It's been a while since I ordered anything. But I used to order stuff from them once a month or so when I was really addicted to helis. Not once did they screw up my order. Yea you gotta pay freight from Taiwan. but their parts are so cheap it doesn't take much to make it up.
Screw Tower Hobbies.

I used to order on a Sunday evening, and I think my order was almost always at the post office the following Saturday. I think there were a couple times I had to wait till the second weekend(I could only pick up on Saturday because you have to sign for it,and I work nowhere near the post office)

Any updates on THUNDER TIGER USA distributors
Haven't heard or seen anything in 6 weeks. Is HRP in or not?
Any hobby shops that deal with THUNDER TIGER products know anything?

In limbo do we or don't we plan on seeing any support for
Thunder Tiget helis for this flying season. BTW thanks for the
Taiwan hobby shop link to get parts for just in case.

There will be an update in a few days, and the news will be what everyone wants to hear. Making certain that China knew exactly what was needed for support across many models proved to be a major task.

You can check Experience RC for G4 parts, but HRP already did there damage there, as they have also raised the price on the G4 parts 10-40%, yes you now will have to buy each side of the G4 frame for $125.
