Why should I be forced to downgrade my sim when I purchase your radio?

I have used Helix. Nothing like Real Flight

Not forcing you to downgrade, just offering other free options. This is what is available now and works.Team MikadoUSA 480XXTreme, 550SX, 600SX, 700XXTreme, 800XXTreme!!

Why do you need a sim when you can use a real heli??? The sim is not the same, doesnt feel the same, doesnt respond the same, just doesnt cut it in my book. The new Vbar control is best way to go!
You will get a better out come in learning to fly, or learning new maneuvers. Go high and you will do just fine.

I'll NEVER be without my sims, and I NEVER say never.

I use them constantly.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I've learned from them.

With a different firmware loaded in a v-bar unit it can be made to output a ppm stream as seen on the trainer port of other brands of transmitters. This is the same as simstream product.

Mikado are working on a dedicated box of tricks that will be a stripped out mini v-bar.

The way I see it if you don't like the vbc concept then it doesn't matter what Mikado does it will be over-priced, not right for "me", somehow forcing folk to do things.

If you buy into the Mikado concept as a long time user of v-bar I wouldn't be at all surprised to find those people with spare units and so only the outlay for a "spare" satellite and the cables required.

I bought the vbc to fly my models but kept my old transmitter so nothing has changed when it comes to using the simulator.

I have a Vbar Control and 13 Vbar units, I love the radio. I just think Mikado could have just skipped the patch and put out the right product to begin with. At a minimum right now you need a 175$ Vbar, 80$ receiver, and 20$ for cables. That is an expensive sim, radio included or not.Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!

I do know that a close mouth doesn't get feed . It's the thing that make this hobby grow customer complaints. Mikado is all about growth and innovation and getting it right.Im sure that they'll get it right. It just hurt as the consumer to shell the money and not get all you want.I would keep talking about it until a reasonably solution is foundanthony jackson

As stated, a new unit is under development which will eliminate the need for repurposing a Mini Vbar. In the meantime they've offered this solution for people who can't stand to wait and either A) have the money or B) have a spare mini-V sitting around. There is no negative side to them offering an immediate solution for those who don't want to wait.

For everyone else, hold those complaints until we see what they release. Then you can let loose the lamentations of the long-suffering hobbyist.
