pitch gauge
hey guys... pitch gauges...

what do you guys use?

I have a very cheap analog gauge, but I don't think it's sufficient anymore...

need to get something better, whats out there? I haven't been active for the past three years...

I still use an old manual pitch gauge I purchased from Heliproz. They work and get the job done. But, I would like a digital one. They are a little more accurate and work better for setting up todays fbl systems. Look around at some of the online vendors, They have some nice ones to choose from. This one from HeliDirect is a good example.

I use the RC Logger...not a 'labratory' precision instrument, but I feel it's about the best option we have and plenty good enough for most of us.

If you use the blades folded back method to get zero degrees any pitch gauge should be sufficient to set max collective and cyclic.

I got the t-piece and bar that screws in place of the head button. No flat battery on my pitch gauge.

I have a digital gague, but I prefer the regular analog gauge and the tool that goes on top of the head to hold the flybar. I get a more accurate reading that wayHobby: Meet wallet!
