How about it!
I wanted to be the first to post on this new forum. I sent a PM to Mark and suggested it and 15 minutes later here it is. I hope it will be helpful to us Graupner users.

I love my MC 20. Just tested their FBL system in a Forza 450 seems good. Very easy to setup.

I got an MC-20 a few months ago and so far really like it. I am converting my whole fleet (15) of helicopters over and it is a chore. I am still getting used to the programming, but the more I use it...the more I like it. It does a lot of things that my old radios did not do and has more things that I will probably never need. Taking some time to get used to the terminology also.
All-in-all...great radio!

Graupner MZ Flybarless
I thought about doing the same thing, but without much advertising going on I didn't think the interest would be up yet.

Now that OpenHobby has got some large ads in Model Aviation magazine - more people are finding out what an awesome radio the MZ 18/24 is. Personally, I think it is brilliant and SJ Graupner are impressively active in updating the firmware and listening to the users.

I'm now using my MZ 24 in my pattern aircraft, foamies and helicopters. In fact, I purchased a couple of their new receivers that have both fixed wing and flybarless sensors/software built in - all of which is programmable from the transmitter.

Plus, I've purchased a boat load of brushless HV servos to put in both my planes and helis. Haven't flown much though due to crappy weather, but I'll certainly be commenting on them when I feel I've put them through their paces.

I have the MC-20 and now that I am getting used to it...I love it. Let us know how your new setups work. I looked at the FBL combined receivers and was thinking of putting them on my 450's. I am also converting my entire fleet this winter over to the Graupner receivers (about 15). I currently have the .90 Fury Extreme FBL flying and am just finishing setting up my Goblin 700 Comp. Next in line in my new Synergy E7SE. This time of year, I fly when I can...can't wait for Spring!Team Synergy, Team Scorpion, No good deed goes unpunished

Graupner 24
I am thinking of making the switch. Been Futaba all my life but now the Futaba radios are just not that cool. My question is about Graupner receivers. Are you locked into their receivers or can you use an alternate receiver Like Orange RX etc.

Far as I know you can only use there receivers for there radio but the FBL units ikon2 Brain and spirit units are integrated in there system and can be used with there radios.

I just got one myself for Christmas, there fantastic, nice menus and instructions and all. For me a little learning curve but it is my first FBL unit, flew Raptors for awhile with spectrum radio. So some things are new to me for programming conventional to FBL units

AMEN!!!!!! I just got my MZ-18 with Pro upgrade. Why pro..... because if you cant fly like one you should at least have the word "pro" on your start up screen.

All kidding aside. I like mine so far. A lot of functionality and I like the way it feels in my hands and in the air. Cant wait to wear those sticks out.
