save yourself the trouble and get an electric one.

no one can really answer that for you as picking an engine is based on how you plan on flying the model or what you expect it to do. Not to mention the rather long list of displacements available and modification choices tailored to each for specific applications.

So what are your expectations? flying style? etc.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

If money is not an issue I would call one of the engine modders and talk to them. They can set you up with an engine tuned for your flying style.
If money is the issue like with me. Then Of the 4 gassers I have flying now, 2 with Zenoahs and 2 with CYs, I like the CY26RC the best. They are all good engines. That one just happens to be the best of the bunch. Must have been built on a Thursday.

Jimmy, If it looks like a heli I like it.

270 RC format, pro plus or 3D max, your call. I will get one of these when I start my G700 build.

It has to be RC format, PUH won't work.

E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

Get an electric lol, already have one dont much care for the flight times. I am probably going to call one of the engine modders and get what they suggest. Is it really a night and day difference getting a factory motor to a modded one? No hard 3d here. I think the flight times would be good for my son, hes 7. Just started him on the flight sim so maybe by spring or summer I could get him in the air!
