I'd take an Align over 10 Blade helis any day.
"You're kidding right ?,

10 of them I don't think they're that bad after I see a guy
on YouTube beating the Align 150 with a 10lbs hammer then set it ablaze.

I think this guy would take 10 blade than 1 Align.

I was waiting on some honey but there aren't no Queen bee,

What's fragile about a Goblin? That's a new one.
I saw a GBL 700 had a small mishap that doesn't look too
well after it was brought to the RC table.
That thing was total even the motor was toast.

all other crash results in the owners getting a new kit
or a major repair.

I love them and firmly believe they are the glue holding this hobby together
That may have been the case with Align a long, long time ago, but it most certainly isn't the case today and hasn't been for quite a while. I'd give a lot more credit to Horizon/Blade these days.

I have invested in the following 700 sized helis -- Align, Gaui, Mikado and SAB.

There are unique things (issues) that I have found in each (and every) brand, so I can honestly say that IMHO there isn't any reason that I could hate Align.

As a matter of fact, my Align 700 DFC is the smoothest (vibration wise) of any that I have set up on my Vbar control with the vibration monitor built into the system. My day in and day out machines that I fly the most regularly are the 700DFC and the Logo 690SX.

I would never tell someone not to get an Align product.

Align was my 1st best flyable I won't ever forget that,
many of those years it was just Align and Mikado at the
fields until all most all other brands came to play.

My personal feeling is that Align is probably the best brand you could go with in the sense of that it covers all of at least what I'm looking for in a product, pretty darn well, an for the right price.

For sure there are other products that have some parts (an by that I don't only mean the mechanics of the helo) that are far better then Aligns stuff, but then they slack an sometimes way off in others.

So I might suspect that for some, those high parts are what they judge the entire company or product by, an so for them when Align doesn't measure up, they just blanket hate the whole thing.

I AM GOING TO FLY MY 500CF RIGHT NOW...SECOND ONE IN 5 YEARS AND I LOVE IT. MILD 3D. NOW THE BATTS ARE CHEAP AND MORE RELIABLE. I HAD EVERY 450 ALIGN EVER MADE...SOME PROBLEMS BUT NOT TO BAD. I UPGRADED SERVOS, MOTOR, GYRO, AND SPEED CONTROLLER ON EVERY SINGLE ONE BUT INITIALLY I COULD ONLY AFFORD STOCK AND THATS WHAT I GOT. I WANTED TO TRY OUT SOME OTHERS BUT ONLY HAD A RAPTOR 90...AWESOME BUT SCARED THE !@#% OUT OF ME SO I SOLD IT. IM THANKFUL FOR ALIGN...IF I ONLY WERE ABLE TO FLY THE AXE CP OR BLADE CP THAT I STARTED WITH I WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD LEARNING TO FLY.

I was an align hater for a long time, basically now if u cannot beat them join them. im still a big TT fan and enjoy my raptors, but I have a trex 700 N DFC and a 700 E so what the heck lol.
I will say the later editions of trex are pretty nice stuff.

Allz I know is I have 2 Trex's 550 and 700, love both and have flown the 550 200+ flights.

I got a new Goblin 500 (which I like very much thank you), and on the very first flight the main gear broke into 2 pieces causing a minor wreck. Replaced with an upgraded main gear. Never had this happen with an Align...

Another down side of Align was the fact they don't know how to design.

Out of all the new 450 the the Dominator was kinda wacky The
Gaui x3 get the better end of that design

but sounded like a blender until they bring out the belt vs,

Now we have that KDS 450 it a master piece the multiple belt
drive system make it look like a transmission now that will have some quietness.

I think I can live with KDS model they have parts handy and
are moving on from having their model look like Mikado.

Their design isn't bad at all.

Nothing wrong with align I flew them for a long time but wanted to try something different so I sold all my align stuff and bought other brands. Life is to short just to fly one brand wish I had the cash to own them all.

Welcome to the hobby
Yep!

A lot of people hate some brand or another.
I used to be stupid like that also, but I have since learned that every brand has its pluses and minuses...
and to quit bowing to peer pressure.

Fly what you like, and leave everyone else to do the same!

Didn't Align used to make vacuum cleaners?

Maybe that's why some people think they suck.

I love my aligns, the longest lasting helis I've flown. My trex 700E is so old it originally came with a flybar head. I converted it to FBL with the "V1" head which it still has in it. The only parts that have been replaced are the main TR drive gear, a boom support and some links in the head after a crash a couple years ago.
It has only one mod, a KDE rear boom brace, since the rear of the old trex 700E is a real weak spot back there at the boom attach points.

It's 5 years old now I think? And I still fly it regularly as a LHS/FPV beee****tch on all its original parts. I'm not finding much of anything wearing out on it, even the swash doesn't have any noticeable play in it.

My trex 800, tho, is the Pro DFC model. That's truly a modern heli design. It's even more durable than the 700, I stopped counting the flight time on it at 30 hours.

So I don't hate em, I think they're great helis.

Go to a fun fly and see how many Align helicopters there are verses all the others brands combined. Also checkout how many pilots with more than one helicopter have at least one Align helicopter they are flying? From what I’ve seen I’d say over 80% are Align’s.
We must hate to purchase what we love to fly.
