I have begun work on my H-34.. this build will go right into the 2015 season, and I plan on using it for my 2015 NATS Scale Heli event..
I will be doing a complete set up during the build, so that I can fly this as I build it...
This fuselage is 7'-0" and the estimated weight ready to fly will be in the 35-40lbs range..
Four blade head with 1050mm blades and HS should be 850-1000 if all works our correctly!!
The mechanics are also custom built by Unique Aircraft for this fuselage...very versatile, and very set up friendly, for a lot of equipment options... these also leave the rear bay completely empty and ready for detailing... There is going to be a LOT of work, but I will be modeling the Eisenhower Presidential heli in the pics..
Will be running JR DMSS, along with JR HV servos, Scorpion HK 5085 380kv on 12s, and Castle Creations HV Phoenix Edge 120 ESC, and a
4 Blade tail.
I will be adding more pics as the build starts to progress.. Oh and yes that is my JR Forza 450 being munched on for lunch!!!

Thanks and enjoy
Stan

Hi Stan:

We missed each other at Unique Aircraft by only a couple of days. The build is looking good and I am looking forward to seeing it at the Nats and Dalton next year.

Stan,
Quit screwing around and just build a bigger shop! We need it!

When your helis collection is all 7 foot or bigger...there is only one solution.

We are going to need a paint booth too

Stan: Holy cow bud, I just looked at the pics again and noticed that you have freekin lawnmower wheels on this thing! That gives me a better idea of just how large this monster is.

Buster, due to our decision to move and my work travel, the Enstrom has been on hold for a while. I have to machine one more item for the mechs to be flyable in pod/boom config. I plan to make the part when I get home and hopefully test fly the mechs some time early next year.

Stan,
I have a set of maintenance books on this bird that my Dad passed on to me. The problem is I sent them to Thompson Fuselage over 3 years ago and have never heard from them again. If someone know how to get in touch with them and get the books your more than welcome to use them. They have all the good stuff you need when building scale..

Thanks For The Support!!
Yes this is a project that is a "little" larger then the norm, but, the same goes for helis as for airplanes....bigger flies better... and it is a true statment..
Guess my 47 has spoiled me!!!
It will have a removable tail, but it will fit in my car w/o removing it...the wheels are 6".... and I am sure NASA definetly has smaller capsules that have returned from space
This will be a long build, but it is one that I have wanted to do since I first saw the original..and it is also one that I remember as a kid, setting a/c units on comercial buildings, which just sort of caught my interest...
I will keep the pics coming as I move along with it..

Thanks, Stan
