Has anyone been able to get the cg correct on their forza 450 3s? I've tried 2100 to 2700 mah packs and it is very nose heavy regardless of which packs I use. It flies ok, but it really shows in piro moves. It definitely drifts in a piro.

You could always add weight to the tail. That said, I don't have any problems with mine and 2200 packs.

E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

I ended up adding a 5 gram weight to the tail boom. I was able to discretely attach it between the boom and vertical stabilizer.

Wow! It completely changed how the little forza flies. It piros flat now and just transitions through everything smoother.

Option tail cover, landing gear, and tail blades are now available at JRA.

I just ordered my 450 with orange tail blades and tail cover, should be very visible.

My old Nex e8 was impossibly nose heavy as well. I removed the batt plate and as much weight off the nose and it still didnt balance right, dont know whats up with their designers but seems they forget the batts weigh more than a RX pack lol.

Hello All

I noted the same balance issue. I am using Lectron Pro 30c 3000 mAh Battery that weighs out at 195 grams.

With these batteries of course I was nose heavy but these batteries aren't that much heavier then anything in the 2200 to 2500 class battery.

I added two ounces of self adhesive lead weight to the tale tube just forward of the tail case and the helicopter balanced perfectly.

I plan to order one of the JR tail clamp brackets to offset the weight some. We will see how that helps the balance.

I use 3s 2200 40c packs and I just moved the ESC to the outside rear frame and my balance is right on.....

MobileRaptor-

Do you mean the aluminum JR tail clamp? I've been wondering how much weight that would add and how much help it would be. Please let us know what you find out.

I've heard that Lynx heli makes a tail clamp as well but I haven't been able to find it. Maybe someone has a link to that?

I'm thinking about just ordering the tail boom cover but it's pricey. 😁

Like doorman, I mounted my ESC to the side (although not quite as far back as he did).

No problems with balance with a 2200 mah battery.

I lied earlier. Mine actually required a quarter ounce in the nose (not a typo).

Not really a lie, I just hadn't checked CG. I changed FBL units and the tail kept dropping, so I had to deal with it.
