Consider a Trex 700 conversion, then parts availability will be less of an issue.

My first response is don't buy a used one. Too much potential for problems.

Your best bet whether you go new or used would be to go with an Align 700 Helibug conversion or the newer Goblin 700 Conversion. I have two Helibug conversions and between Helibug and Align you can easily get any part you need. The Goblin is newer and I don't have any experience with the availability of the conversion parts. The Goblin parts are not hard to get.

Engines: Both use the RC style Zenoah engine. You can go stock or modified. The G270RC or G290RC are the most popular choices. The two most popular modifiers are Toxic Marine and BH Hanson. Both are now selling a 300 that is supposed to be really good. I have 290's in mine: one stock and one BH Hanson.

Good luck. Gassers can be some work to make reliable. Not so much the engines, but the power train.

Thanks all. And ya he said that !!!
So the gasser engines are hard on the gears ?? Is that because of the hard hitting longer stroke engine ??

pretty much... thats why the Gassers that use the RC format engines run better overall, the mass of the flywheel smoothes out the torque.
