Thanks

This opens a new can of worms but the vbar I believe and if I am wrong someone please correct me but the vbar is not optimized for multiblade head 3D. I have heard several try vbar on JR helis and others and did not like it.

Now...
Knowing Ulrich and Ranier I am SURE IF that is true and I don't know it to be they could make a multiblade algorithm for sure. The place to ask would be the forums on Vstabi.info. Ulrich, Ranier or Eddy could give us a quick answer for sure. I know Ranier and some of the guys fly the huge Vario multiblade models and do mild 3D with them. Seen them do it at IRCHA before so vbar does multiblade heads that I have seen with my own eyes.

I'd ask on Vstabi.info to see what the vbar is optimized to do right now and then if there are any plans for multiblade projects.

I would very much love the hear the answer myself as I have never taken the time to ask. Much of what I relayed is hearsay so take it as that.

I think Jan Henseleit is using a VBar on the TDS.

I don't believe so. TDR guys have Bavarian Demons with custom firmware just optimized for speed runs. Saw them at IRCHA....

I'm fairly certain that Nick Maxwell flies the V-Bar on his three bladed raptor...and he flies it like he stole it. Must work OK I'd guess.

I'm using a Vbar on a 5-bladed vario scale ship - working good. it uses another software download for multi-head ships, but is working nicely.

@ ABH,

I do still fly my 5 bladed Hughes on the V-Bar (just finished another flight on it today as a matter of fact), but I don't do any 3D with it (just loops and rolls), and it's still version 5.3...maybe 6.0 is different?

Dave, do you have any wobble in your rotorhead from time to time?

I was under the beleif Nick was using a cgy 750 on his raptor 3blade.
Unless he has changed to vbar. I d convert my e700 to a 3 blader but only if it was possible to use the vbar unit.

All my multiblade heads are controlled by V bar, awesome, NO ISSUES whatsoever and one is a 1/4 scale turbine AS350 at 8 foot long and 23 KG with a scale Starflex head.

Hi Garry,
Does anyone know if there is a 3 blade head available as yet for a Logo 690 or 700 ??
I would consider Nick Maxwell's 3 blade head for any 12mm mast/shaft heli that is not a Diabolo.

3 blade systems work well if not better with most FBL systems. Using proper rigidity, lighter weight, and PROPERLY CG blades is key to keeping aerobatic performance optimum (Helix 3 blade sets)

I have a Vbar on a JR Vibe E8. It flys a lot nicer with the three blade head than the two.
