I know that, just pointed out the buyer's misinterpretation of .61 size engine being for 60size heli [.50 & .61 SX-H crankcase & cylinder-head lookalike, but the 50 has 2 needle (idle & main) carb]

The internet is just a faster Craigslist.
I've been burned on that site a few times lately. People ask where you live and say they will be over and never show up. No call or anything. They leave you hanging there waiting. It ticks you off. But, most people here are pretty good too their word. I've sold several helis and parts in the past, even holding them for a week or so waiting for the buyer to come up with the money and they have. But you always get the ones that don't. Like mentioned, check there feedback and that will give you an idea how good they are. And usually if there serious they will pay right away or at least give you a down payment. And for lowballers, just don't waist your time with them. Good luck on your sales.

My take on "lowballers" is this. If I offer up a heli for let's say $500.00, I expect to get it sold for between $400 and $450. Now sometimes you have to take less if you really want to sell it, but usually that's the spread. Now if someone offers me $50.00, I'm just not even going to respond to them because they are obviously a moron.

But if a guy offers me $300, I'll tell him he has to come up to a more realistic number or I'll give him a counter and see where it goes. It's a game and if you aren't ready or willing to haggle a little then you don't get the rules of the game.

Now someone who posts "FIRM" is limiting themselves on their ability to sell the item. If you say $850.00 FIRM, why not say $975 "negotiable"? You'll probably get more bites and you may even get your price or more. So the buyers job is to get it for the least amount of money and the seller tries to get the most. Nothing to get upset about.
