So I am "beating up on girls" because I call out someone who is clearly doing this out of a personal vendetta. I find that funny since someone mentioned synergy in a slightly negative way in the Avant forum and Matt the owner came in and called out that person and not one person got offended. I stick up for a brand in their own forum and I am a bad guy? I know, I should just sit back and say nothing when people exaggerate things just to make problems. Posting about your experience is fine. Spending years posting in a forum for the sole purpose of dogging a company when you don't even fly the heli anymore is ridiculous.

That gal has bashed Aurora since day one. To me if you have a problem go to support and get it squared away!! A polite person does not go on line and tell how bad the product is. If you have a problem ask for help here on RR , dont go crying about it. If you need a part it will not b there the next day! If they r moving give them time, fly your other helies that u have for back up. I myself own 2 Auroras and NEVER had a problem with either one, they might not b a Bently but sure beat a lot of other products out there, I fly with a lot of different helies in my club and someone seems to have a problem or something gives out on them a lot of the time. Now did they assemble wrong or was the product faulty? Things happen, take it with a grain of salt and life goes on, enjoy your day we r here for a short time. Things are not always perfect. Sometimes we have to give a little to get a little!

She is basing all her opinion on something she experienced years ago and on a newly released machine. Every machine has some issues on the first runs. It is not fair to base something from 2008 as something that is happening in 2015. There is a point of letting your experience be known. Fine. 7 years later spending all your time bashing a company every chance you get is ridiculous. Thats a personal attack on the company. Things are not the same as then and I am willing to bet the large majority of the customers would disagree with her.

At this point Ladymagic is trolling. we have heard for years now she is not happy with Avant and that's fine she has said her piece but I don't understand why she is spending most of her time in this forum. She should spend her time in the forum of the heli manufacturer that she is flying and likes. Doesn't that make more sense? - Kris

Wow, so I just getting back after a few weeks away and the first thing I see is all this Ladymagic this and Ladymagic is a a troll...yada yada yada. This is why I have a problem with Avant. But, it's not that surprising really.

And since we are being so candid, let me set the "PC" mode aside and let you in what I really think.

The Aurora is garbage and I DID try and get it squared away through customer care. That was not a good experience and the heli is STILL an over-engineered, over hyped piece of crap. And the only thing that thing can smoke is the garbage pile I throw it on after I set it on fire. In 2008, the programmable head is the only thing that made it stand out. All the other tech was from 2002. Now FBL obsoleted that and you can get better performance from just about any MFG's machines as long as you can set it up correctly.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard " well I have so many Auroras and mine is the best ever." Well good for you. If you are questioning my building skill you are wrong. I've built several helis over the years and I've been asked by many other pilots to either help build, straight up build, or setup their machines. Those numbers are not included in my estimates.

I give credit where it's due and I am considered fair and balanced in my opinions. I even gave Avant a long run of consideration all the way through until I realized what type of people represent the company. You don't like what I have to say so, instead of trying to offer solutions and resolution, Avant sends their lynch mob out to pounce on the few who don't fall for the illusion. I am not the only one by any means. That is my problem with Avant. I've proudly ushered MANY new pilots into this hobby and I give them the whole picture. I want them to have all them all information they'll need to get the most out of the hobby and I don't want them to jump ship because I led them astray. Some wanted to try an Avant machine because they wanted something different here and I didn't say a word. They figured it out all on their own. The few that did have Avants had all kinds of problems at our funflys. Auroras AND Mostros. None if them could make it through a day of flying without a problem and when we tried to tune them in they fought us the whole way. And it's not just me, but some VERY seasoned Japanese pilots as well. And you should know, they've taught me some things too. They are very meticulous about their machines. Have you ever heard an Okinawan say WTF? You won't unless you start talking Avant machines.

I do have strong negative opinions about the Aurora, but I still wanted to give the Mostro a chance. I figured the first time was a learning experience... So I did. My hubby got one and we had trouble getting parts to fit....just like the Aurora. Shortly afterwards we decided against it and dumped it before we got stuck with another dud. We were the first on the island to try one out so I was the go to pilot for the other guys who got one. One had a bad head (E) another one had a belt shred out after 10 flights (N) and those two and two more all had a bunch of quality issues. With those odds, it no wonder no one here likes Avant machines except the EFX.

I have had issues with other MFGs, but Avant and their henchmen are the ONLY ones who can't take criticism for what is supposed to be. My top machines are JR and Align. And they both have had some issues too. The difference is when I post my OPINIONS they don't come out the wood works to bash me to death and overall, their machines build and fly as advertised.

Frankly, I could care less what the Avant drones do or think of me, but anyone I trained will not be fooled and suckered into buying something without knowing the full picture. The fact that an Avant rep and his minions are on here making personal attacks on me says all anyone needs to know. That, and the fact that Mostros are like unicorns at many major FunFlys proves the Mostro is another fail. Good job guys.

As for being a troll, I am far from that. I wouldn't need to come here at all if Avant and their reps posted balanced information about their machines. Since they do not, here I am.

Here we go playing the poor me roll again. You attack and attack for months without me saying a word and if anything is said back to you that differs from your opinions you act like the entire company sends an army to attack you. Stop the drama. Let me ask you an honest question, have you spent years bashing the other companies you had problems with? Ask multiple people in my area how one of your top brands treated them. One way failures, a snapped mainshaft in flight amongst other things. Support none. When you had an issue with the Mostro you claim you had (I distinctly remember you saying you were glad you stayed away from getting one when another person posted about an issue they had (weird huh)) who did you ask for support? Had you asked me or even mentioned you owned a Mostro any problem you had would have been taken care of quickly. Ask anyone that has let me know about a problem and you will see for yourself its true. Nope much easier to come here and bash and lie about not having support. And the other people that posted that disagree with you are minions? Sorry they are people that own machines that obviously dont agree with you so you attack them too? You are showing your true colors. I get it now. You have a problem with Avant because you cant trash away unquestioned.
