News from Vinger...true or not?

I know for a fact that the TDR2 will be launched production ready at Rotor Live 2015. So we should see the final product by the 14th March 2015.

Got my heart rate up!

Can't wait for mine, but I made the mistake of getting on the TDS list first and not on the TDR list until the 400+ mark. I've read that the TDS may be on the back burner(if it's done at all), so I may not see my TDR for another year, depending on what Jan does with the TDS list. I don't know how true that is, so take it for what is worth.

I am serious.....and don't call me Shirley.

I'm on the fence with this machine...it looks like its going to be such a headache. I have been told it will be even more complicated than the Diabolo Speed.

Regarding the list, well i'm also interested as what that means because I'm on the list for the new TDR speed machine..that was my subject in 2013...

It looks like a great piece of kit but honestly I'm in no need of a machine that is a pita to maintain.

I'm hoping a couple of guys would have theirs first before I get called up so that I can see what the reviews are.

It is reported over at Rcheli.de that Oli's machine has over 200 flights on it, and the linear servo system is still 100% slop free.

It sure won't be as servicefriendly as the TDR, but the mech should be pretty reliable and is likely to go on for hundreds of flights before any heavy maintenance is needed.

Crashing on the other hand...

That's kind of my thing now, William. It's awesome piece of engineering, but so much more complicated than the original to work on, if needed, like dumbthumb said, after a crash or something. In the end, that won't stop me from getting one though, althoughi probably should have held on to my DS. Lol

As far as the TDR and TDS, I've thought for a while now that the seem to be modular and since they share main mechanics, it appears (and confirmed on hf from a reliable source, I believe) that you should be about to swap from the TDR to TDS and back with almost just a boom and canopy change, which would really negate the need for both. The TDR seems pretty damn fast anyway, may not need the TDS right now.

I am serious.....and don't call me Shirley.

But will you be choosing the retractable main strut option?

That reminds me of my tail dragger pattern planks....

Really awesome looking.

Am on both lists....
