What about the elderly? living on a fixed income, and the poor that won't be able to afford the inflation caused by raising the minimum wage?
The democrats always hurt the poor by causing inflation and then try to fix it by taxing the job creators out of business.
I know, I know, Obama told them to just take a pill and die, but most won't take that route.
kind of like dammed if they do and dammed if they dont

we are doomed there has to be a better solution than cutting down the population with a pill

human beings should be entitled to water food and a roof over there head
just because a person is dumb stupid or lazy does not mean they should
be left to die just because they have problems
How much of what you earn are you willing to give to others that are not willing to earn?

Speaking for myself, my compassion only goes as far as I can afford. I am not willing to break myself down to help someone that refuses to help themselves because they feel entitled.

How much further are you willing to let our nation go in debt to sustain people that are not willing to earn anything but rather take from those that do earn?

The problem is not the needy. That problem is the lazy.

id rather see our money given to the lazy instead of the crazy
our government waste and gives away trillions of dollars to country's
and people who do not deserve it on a daily bases.

id allow 10 percent of my earnings to help the elderly and the homeless who are really in need .
how much would you give ? lol oops

35 years ago when I was in college minimum wage would't pay for 2bd apartment either . Had to have a roomate. Attitudes were different . I worked 1 fulltime and partime job while taking 12-15 credits. Not alot of people willing to do that anymore . Of course we payed our bills first before we had any fancy gadgets. People nowdays will pay $100 a month for cell phone, smoke and have newer car with payments, big screen ect then complain that they can't afford Health care. Was in line at store yesterday and watched lady with 4 kids buy all sorts of candy and junk food with ebt card . When she left she was driving nicer car than what I have, but my health insurance has gone up $250 because of Obama Care so others can get theirs free . I get up every morning and work my aa& off to keep paying for people who won't or expect a guaranteed out come in life reguardless of the input given.

That's fine.

But, you need to be aware that your children and your grandchildren will be subject to hyper taxes to pay for the foolishness of today.

Instead of creating a permanent underclass for the purpose of retaining a vote at the cost to hard working, honest Americans, wouldn't it more more practical to cut the size of government significantly, slash taxation, slash regulation, get rid of useless government agencies any get government off our backs?

At this time, you're free to donate anything you want to whomever you want.

And how much would you personally donate to the lazy?

You changed your statement, in mid stream, from the lazy...to the elderly and homeless. What's up with that?

A bit clumsy at it.

But, it does seem to kinda work most of the time.

1st it was the lazy....then you switched to the elderly and weak...and now it's money wasted by the politicians to buy votes.

There is indeed a lot of waste....and a significant percentage also involves fraud.

You've heard of the billions with Medicare fraud....and what about Obama's Solyndra debacle?

You forgot to mention that.

true obama is another waste of trillions

hamburgers at mcdonalds should be 5 bucks a burger and gas 8 bucks a gallon
with all of the government wasting

upping minimum wages are not going to effect us a bad as people speculate and if all your making 15 bucks an hr on your job you might not want to work as hard and go flip some burgers
or find a better job that pays more than a burger flipper

How do you know?

Am I supposed to take your word for that?.....

You forgot, there won't be any more burger flippers in the near future.

Human burger flippers will be replaced by robots.

Now if you know how to keep the robots running, perhaps you can make $15/hr...maybe $20.

You see, robotic burger flippers don't complain, they show up on time, they don't require 401Ks, and they don't protest and strike. And they don't make mistakes. And they can't vote.

yes but the robot flippers are not as cheap as they use to be ?

and im sure if your paying a human 15 bucks an hr he will not complain.

but robot burger flippers hopefully will not forget your dang order

plus the burger flipper mechanic will not be cheap either

it would be cheaper to spend 150 bucks a day on a human rather than shell
out 65,000 bucks for a machine to flip and sell burgers

example

You're kidding, right?...

365 x 150 = $54,750

Where do you come up with $65,000? Did you make that up?

yes i did but 54k is close enough

is 54 for the year ? if so thats all most more than a police officer and a school teacher makes

and i must admit 15 an hr is kind of high 10 to 12 an hr seems a bit more reasonable

With regards to police, they make much more here.

And, I'll bet in Long Beach they make twice that and then some.

One of the reasons CA is going broke.

Just FYI, that $15 an hour costs the employer almost $30 and hour by the time you add taxes, insurance, benefits, etc...
A $200,000 machine would be cheaper in the long run.
Or they can just pay illegals $5 an hour like the dems do to get their lawns done.

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!
