i set the collar to flush so there is no movement on the shaft, the gear on the bottom is the one that has the play. Also i have ran the heli both ways as the swash moving up for negative pitch/down for positive pitch, and also as the swash moving up for positive pitch/down for negative pitch, and the problem is always persistent.

I have my max rpm set a 2500. I normally fly at 2200. I can get 6:50 and the packs come down at 8.3 vpc.

spoke to mikadousa today and will be getting a new one way bearing, also they helped me through the setup a bit, turns out my setup was less than optimal and my vbar was only seeing bout 9* pitch for up and about 15 for down. was kinda way off. will do a good test flight tomorrow. thanks everyone for the help.

Did redoing the setup help with getting the cyclic to 8 degrees?

just finished a proper test flight, and its a whole different machine. Flies great, tail hold good and no wobble, and its so quiet and smooth, its deceiving, doesnt sound like its spinning around 2300 rpm.

ok so been flying it a lot and i have noticed that after a CCW(left rudder) pyro, when i let go of the rudder it overshoots a tiny bit and then kicks back. When i go right rudder it doesnt do that. I have tried adjusting the stop gains A and B and nothing, i have B set at 0 now and still does it, which of those settings in the tail section advanced menu will help that stop? from my research it should be the stop gains, so i increase it then? I have the ball on the servo horn at the outer most hole.

I have both of mine at 20. Have you tried an optimizer flight? It might help out.

Sounds like it could be a governor over shoot. Put the stop gains back to 20 and Lower the gov gain 10 points and retry.

i did try the optimizer and it didnt help, and just tested the lower governor gain and stop gains at 20 and still does it, also i looked at the tail servo and i have the ball in the middle hole, not the outer most one.

'Just wondering why the bearing is always so stiff after landing' you are feeling the charge that's left in the ESC caps right after running. No problem typical to all mine.

smittylube, he said that it is tight when spun in the direction where the one-way bearing allows slippage. Thus the motor is not turning and the remaining charge in the ESC caps would have no effect on this.

It's definitely not typical. That would make auto rotation almost Impossible. It's almost acts as a rotor brake.
