Setting up my tail and using the suggested 4.5mm gap between case and pitch slider......after turning on heli in hh mode I flipped the switch to non hh to check rudder trim and the heli nose goes to the right.... I adjusted the linkage until the tail would not drift but ...after putting the heli back in hh mode it held perfect but my question is the pitch lever isn't parallel and the gap sure is not 4.5 am I missing something

How much over 4.5mm is the gap?

Is the servo horn 90 degrees when centered?

Tail offset is also dependent on head speed.

When I had it set up with 4.5 the tail would kick to the right....with it setup like a described tail holds solid...could it be that it is just low head speed

When I had a 30 my throttle curve maxed at 100 (ex: 100-60-100) and I leaned until I got the performance I was after, checking the backplate temp with my finger as I went.

The R30 manual has setup info if you can get your hands on it.

E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

If it's doing what you need it to do I wouldn't bother. 4.5 or 7.5mm as long as the tail holds no worries.

E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.
