CDC changes Ebola care guidelines for U.S. hospitals after Dallas case

Ebola care instructions at a Dallas hospital and across the country were changed by federal officials on Monday — a tacit admission that training and procedures used for America’s first case of the disease had come up short.

Really, was it one or two people that got sick based on these guidelines. It's to be expected that they make some changes to them.

Or do you fell it's better to keep making the same mistakes?

They are innocent lamb's - NEver ever been selected or mentally sorted to have the focus necessary to walk or work in such a environment.

Nurses and Personnel health care providers - To Help Sick and Weak

Not to be placed in a unusual un familiar environment - IT's NEW !

Just donning PPE if not familiar is enough to break ones focus or self confidence level, strange and unusual environment and the improper order sequence of donning or it's operation.

Some - Can kill you if it is not done in sequence.

Air Regulators - Old Filter's ect

Don't for get to plug your air hose in - tie off - ect and it's dam dark and creepy and you can't hear a dam thing and have no clue what you are going to find but sort of ---- and you better have the lock out key's in YOUR pocket and Know your Tender like your wife
Cause you can't see him and maybe talk.

Fire Rescue GUY's & Gal's ARE BETTER TRAINED

Good point, but remember this:

The CDC was quick on the draw to state everything was under control. Even President Obola even said you can't get Ebola by sitting next to someone on the bus.

Now the CDC is changing not only the guidelines for U.S. hospitals, but they are backtracking on some of their past statements.

Example:
At best, the changes to various CDC messages may just indicate an inconsistency at the public affairs level, and may not indicate holes in the CDC’s knowledge about the virus. But even if that’s the case, the changes could be a factor in the growing distrust some have in the CDC to give people the straight information they need about the virus.

Any organization should make necessary changes as circumstances dictate, but the CDC should not give the impression they know how Ebola is transmitted and then rework their statements.

Duh . . .

Here is the thing people would be bitching (and for good reason if they did not make changes) and now people are bitch when they do try to correct their mistakes.

Consider this:

While I might make a tiny mistake and misspell a word, my mistake does not put lives at stake, but the cavalier attitude of the President Obola administration puts lives at risk.

The gall of President Obola to tell people in Africa they can't get Ebola from another passenger on a bus and then the CDC tells them to avoid public transportation is not just a mistake. It is gross incompetence.

Remember everything President Obola touches is either corrupt, dishonest, incompetent, or flat out turns to crap. Why should this be any different?
