Very vague topic "Plastics dead"...

Are you talking about credit cards, girls or helicopters?

Plastic in all of those cases was very alive and well at IRCHA!

Seemed that the Logo/Goblin ratio was much increased over last IRCHA, maybe because Mikado finally put out some new models people are more likely to buy.

Good to see...

oops, bounced it!

To be real is possible because that's just me i think the one that started this topic just want to say bad things about mikado, why i have been follow lots of post by him and to be clear IMO just seem to be a Mikado hater.Plastic will be around forever and so will Mikado.Logo 600 class is one off the best heli out there point blank. Not seeing plastic at Ircha sound like either Ray Charles started this topic or someone was just on there golf cart all day looking at the Gaui girls.I'm nobody fan boy,but love greatness, and you get this out of plastic frame logo greatness, just go and buy a align 700 nitro if plastic is dead plenty metal for you ,im going to fly my plastic 600sx.

With CNC so inexpensive now and 3D printing becoming mainstream, I think we'll continue to see a mix of materials.

I'll add, that is several years old and that machine has long since been converted back to a bone stock logo. I use it for low head speed flying.

Nothing wrong with Old Bob My Trex600 is from 2004 I think. Still in great shape, but it is taking the back seat to my 3 year old Goblin

So you were at IRCHA this year? I am surprised you didn't stop by and say hello

You could have stopped by and had your VBAR "quirks" sorted...

Were you in the Align or Skookum tents?

Composites used in heli construction is often more forgiving than some of the lesser quality alloys used in kits nowadays.
