I truly do not wish to impart a negative comment about something that I haven't used, but one issue that needs to be addressed on this link is the difference in material between the steel turnbuckle and the aluminum link.

There is a reason that Align has you loctite the steel part into the aluminum part. It has to do with the harder steel wearing out the threads in the aluminum housing due to vibrations. Since doing that basically invalidates the use of the turnbuckle, I don't personally view this after market item as one that will resolve the very small corrections that are available with a turnbuckle.

My setup method on my DFC links involves fixing the swash to grip link and then adjusting the swash height to give you 0 pitch at mid stick. I use turnbuckles on the servo to swash links to get my final setup.

I've got a 550L also and like the DFC design. We're hearing a lot of negative vibs about DFC in this post but I'm having trouble picking out exactly what it is that's wrong with the setup - other than it's hard on servos in a crash. Is this the only reason? If not, what else?
