First Autonomous Quad Flights
It was a blast to be able to control the DJI Naza-M system using a laptop, teathered cell phone and GPS to fly the circuits that I designed.

I know many of you have accomplished this moons ago, but to do this without a lead assistant was pretty cool moment.

I have my buddy Mike to thank. He is really putting a purchased Phantom2 through it's FPV paces. He can barely walk after another surgery to repair his legs damaged in Afghanistan, yet he makes it to the flying field as often as he can.

We are doing everything within the spirit of the law at our flying site. The FAA rules are going to take a bite out of what we are able to do as recreation. The line of sight rule without FPV goggles is going to be nearly impossible for such small aircraft.

We can see the fence, and a bit over the fence and it is sure cool to have this capability.
