Speed Canopy + Boom strike == just a flesh wound
So how durable is the tail canopy. OMG I was amazed the durability of the tail boom in a boom strike. I did a auto and landed in a hidden ditch. This cause a bounce and a strike. To my amazmend only small paint chip on the boom. No other damage to the boom. The strike was hard enough to bend the 3mm screws holding the dfc arms. Also what i noticed the blades where able to bounce off the boom. Good job on durability Align.

LOL, when I started to read your topic title I thought you had a boom strike due to the smaller gap between the blades and the boom, as some are wondering.

Yes, the boom seems to be real strong. BTW, a nice sticker should take care of that.

Hell no just low head speed and a ditch. Nothing do with DFC setup and the new boom.
