I sent you a PM on where to go for Taranis Heli programming. The example given there is overly complicated (in my opinion) but is meant to show you what is possible with the transmitter. You can scale it back from the 9 flight modes shown to the number you want and it will be easier to set up.

There's a few posts on here, some on HF and a lot on RCG. I've had one for close to a year now (since they came out), and it's a great radio. Kills the DX18 and 14SG I sold when I bought it.Nick Crego

Hello
Would anyone mind sharing their setup tips?
I've got a taranis and so far only used on fixed wing. If com honest info find it difficult to set up.

I still use my JR pcm9x( 9303) for my helis as I find the menues easy to navigate.

Im thinking of going flybarless is there any flybarless system that's better for taranis?

I've got a raptor x50 that I'm thinking of converting.

Assuming that the futaba or spectrum controllers won't work?

Is there a list of ones to use and others to avoid?
Any advice much appreciated

Ok
Thanks. The link doesn't work.

I looked at the site and didn't find anything about taranis. ( no headings for taranis) . There is futaba, hitec etc.

Where abouts is it?

Regards

If you want to find out more on this stuff, there is a forum just for open software radios: openrcforums.com

I'm looking at getting one, but I want to learn more about them first.

Come on, that's ridiculous. There is no such thing as too much radio. Spend some time with it and you'll have a moment where it just clicks and you'll think it's easy. I wanted to throw mine out the window for the first day or so before I figured it out. You'll be glad you stuck with it.Nick Crego
