Are my calculations correct?
I am flying a t-rex 800 with two 6s 5300mah in series. I flew at 1600 rotor head speed for 9 minutes. I checked all the cells when I got home and they were down to 3.81 each. That is real good although I was just hovering. So my question is when I charge up these two 5300mah in parallel on the charger the mah that the charger indicates that it put in to top the batteries off do I take that reading as what I used or do I have to divide it by two?

Hey Tomtek

The total amount you have is 5300 to use as they are in series.

If we take the 80% rule then you will have used 4240 mAh while flying.

When you charge the charger will put in 4240 per pack (80% of each pack used) so your charger will say 8480 was put in as a total.

So yes you will need to divide that by 2 for the amount you used.

Hope that helps (and is correct

Best way charge them up... if its over 5300 put in then you have to divide by 2
