FBLRotors.com Ball Link Pliers
I just wanted to post on a great set of ball link pliers I recently picked up. These pliers are made to a higher quality than all the rest I have tried! Here is the link - http://www.fblrotors.com/FBL-ROTORS...Ship_p_458.html. They were originally made for the Synergy line of helicopters and their 5.5mm balls, but I tried on several different brand of helis over the weekend and the work great on all the ones I tested (Gaui, KDS, Align, SAB, etc). There was a gunsmith at the field and he could not believe the quality of the work that went into them, very light, but the jaws are extremely strong (the pouch is rather nice touch on top of everything else)! I have to hand it to Ralph the owner of FBLRotors, when he sets out to make a nice tool - he does an excellent job.

And the description from the page (in case I got anything wrong in the design!):
FBL has developed new set of ball link pliers that will be available by May 30, 2014.

This new tool will allow easy removable of the plastic links using 5.0-6.0 MM balls. ( Ex: Align, Mikado, SAB, Synergy etc.)

These pliers are fully machined; heat treated and incorporates an internal spring. The jaw material will not scratch the ball links or surrounding metal parts. The male side is machined stainless with a integral pin ,while the female side is high strength bronze. Jaws are replaceable and will work on all for 5.0/5.5/6.0 links.

Pliers are anodized red, with the FBL Logo laser etched. Handles are ergonomically designed for easy grip with a partial black rubber insert for the back of your fingers to rest on.

Complete with heavy fabric black protective case embroidered with the FBL Logo.

And if you didn't know the jaws are available separate also in case you ever have an indecent and wreck a set. I have had a pair since release, working with all Synergy heli and large links I have yet to bend a set.

Also, the jaws are not made of steel specifically so they wont scratch your pretty aluminum heli parts!
Team Synergy, Team FBL Rotors-------if its not broke...it will be!
