does any one have any real world experience with this?

i like the looks of it and seems like it would be more fun than a normal quad, repairs look much easyer than any heli?

I've got one. They are a ball to fly. Flys like any quad until you flip it over. All the magic is done at half stick. Above half you're upright, drop below half stick and the motors reverse and you are inverted.
Build in less than 2 hours. Take quite a bit of abuse. I've landed mine inverted twice and only broken a couple of legs. Parts easy to come by.

You have to assign a switch for ch5 to arm the model. Plug your battery in and move the stick, nothing happens. Flip the switch (whatever you set ch5 to) and now the model will start to spool up at half stick on off you go.

Hey guys... you can get them at Encore RC's site. A simple google search will pull that up.

Check out the Encore RC facebook page too for new news/updates.

Mine came with deans connector. I also want to add that Encore Rc has been great with there quick turn around great Customer service and having parts in stock every time I order.. These guys may be new on the block but with this type of caring for the customer they will always have my business..
Also check out there battery choices, the prices are good and they have been holding up really well.

If you use just the satellite as a receiver do you need an adapter? If so what is it?
Anyone have a phone # for Encore RC I need to add to my order!

When you ordered if you choose satellite it comes with the adapter for satellite. I choose futaba so mine came with wires for receiver hookup. Not sure if I can paste info. So just go to Encore rc from Google and the contact info is there..

First I want to let you guys know I have now affiliation to the company at all.I purchased my kit just like you guys, but I was fortunate enough to receive the 1st production kit.
So if I can help or answer any questions I will try my best to help...
I've not seen any build videos yet but even with my little or no knowledge before of Quads I was able to build mine in only 2 hours.
The printed directions were easy to follow with great graphics.
