I am now setting my Trex600E Flybar machine on a new FASST R6208SB reciever.
The heli was picked up on RR a while back & set up on my 9Z 72 Mhz setup, with FP-R148DP PCM1024 receiver & 9256 servo.
I had flown the heli before, a few times but not alot.
It used to hover just fine & some, but very little FF had a solid feel with the 611 gyro set up the way it was by the original owner. I just in used 85% gain on my transmitter in the DUO mode, however only used in that Gain 1 setting before.
Now for the issue, I am not familiar with the 611 gyro.
After installing the new R62008SB reciever, the tail had a fairly bad shake, like the gyro was way to sensative. so I turned it way down on the transmitter with no effect.
I finally changed the gain ONLY on the gyro control to 50% from 95%, & transmitter up to 95% gain. No wag on the tail.
Things seem OK
I think the new reciever processes data faster then the old one, I tried both normal & HS modes no difference, left in HS mode after test.
I will next be doing more FF tests.
Again I am not familiar with the 611 gyro, and instrucions are basic.
Wondering where to go from here?
