My icharger 208b tops my 6s lipo batteries to 25.55v and 4.17 for each cell before it terminates the charge. Would you consider that acceptable?

"Normally" 4.2V would be max while 4.16V per cell is its resting state when measured 5-10 minutes after being removed from charger.

If you have new batts, hopefully it should normalize after perhaps five cycles...give or take.

Are you balance charging?

This is a batt issue and nothing to do with your charger.

tomtek,

I have a 208B. It charges to 4.20V/cell in LiPo mode by default. I believe the iChargers and most other brad chargers have a max. time period in which they will try to balance a pack. After this period expires, the charger will stop even if 4.2V/cell was not achieved. When a pack gets old and the cells are no longer matched it is typical to not get 4.2V/cell since the balancing becomes more difficult/time consuming.
