Flybar or flybarless?
In general somewhere around 12 degrees of collective pitch with pitch curves in all 3 flight modes being 0-100 linear to start with.
Throttle curves in normal should be something like 0-40-75-75-75, in I1 like 85-85-85-85-85 and I2 like 95-95-95-95-95.
If your head speed is too low in normal bump the 75 values to a higher value, but keep the flat line numbers the same. This way you will have a constant rpm on your head speed and will just be hovering based on pitch changing, not rpm and pitch.
After you have this basic setup in your TX and have done the mechanical part of the setup, you can go back in and change the pitch curves to something like 30-40-50-65-80. However if you do this, understand you are taking out ability to do acro, as you really need your I1 and I2 pitch curves above mid stick to be the same as your normal curve, so you don't get abrupt blade pitch changes. These numbers will also make your collective not so sensitive. Also depending on what type of flight control your are using, 20-30 percent of expo will help out.
