Remember when you were a kid and you thought you could fix anything with a crescent wrench, pliers and a pry bar (AKA screwdriver). I remember my father telling me, “SON, there is a correct tool for every job”. That’s when I got my first set of actual tools, socket set, and open end wrenches. Ever since then I’ve stuck by that motto. And with tools, (and most things in life) you get what you pay for.

Not too long ago fblrotors.com posted a new ball-link pliers “coming soon”, well that day came, and I can proudly say I was the first one to place and order, ordered two of those bad boys!! The post man most of known I was impatient, ordered Saturday got them Monday!!

All I can say is…………..

Well, I’m at a loss for words. All I know is, I’m going to have to clean out a drawer in the work table, line it with red velvet, accent mood lighting, and every time the drawer opens, a load WAAAA HAAAAA plays in the background!

These are superb ball link pliers. I went and started popping ball links off just because!!

Thank you FBLRotors for making a tool that’s worth every penny.

Just to be clear, I am not a sponsored pilot, and have no affiliation with FBLRotors.

I told my parents I wanted to be a pilot when I grew up, they said I can't do both!

Hmmm...must be that you have to be logged in.

I'll try logging out and see what happens.

Edit...yep that seems to be the deal.
I wonder why he wouldn't want the price seen unless you're logged in?

I'll bet it's a glitch he's not aware of...I'll notify him.

I changed the store settings so you can see the price without logging into the store.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for your support

I'll be buying a pair. Tired of the older design.

I have seen a few different pairs of standard pliers over 50$, those are being mass produced by a huge corporation. These are much higher quality to begin with and are being sold by a mom and pop. They Ralph does not get the huge quantity discounts like the big guys. Ever put a big gouge in your swash trying to get the pliers in to a tight spot? These wont mar up all your pretty aluminum. Did your big gorilla hands somehow break a jaw? No problem, email Ralph and get a new set of jaws to Replace your broken ones. Being said, is 50$ high? Sure. But what helicopter kit is really worth 1000$? You generally get what you pay for, and at the same time your supporting a small American business.

Have no fear, Tyler.

You can email Ralph via the contact link on his web page, and he'll probably call you that evening to answer any questions.
