Does anyone have an extra RJX header they wouldn't mind parting with? Sell?

I ordered the RJX muffler from Hobby King and it was missing the header and hardware. When I e-mailed them, I needed to weigh the package the muffler came in and a scan/copy of the receipt. Well, the muffler came without the receipt, so I am out of luck.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear this rcnut.

Shouldn't hobby king have a copy of your on-line receipt in their system? Do they send a confirmation email with your order info on it?

I asked that question, but was informed...no receipt, no help. That's kind of cold, if you ask me. So I told this person that I paid $50.00 for a muffler that I can't use! No reply...

That's unbelievable...they clearly have a record of your recent purchase, they sent you half of what you ordered and it's unusable.

I can't believe those folks are still in business. Sorry this happened and I hope you find the header for it.

I may have an old header from a split RJX I could give you. Your speaking about the rectangular piece that bolts to the engine and the muffler bolts to it correct?? You need the bolts too?

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

Might be that you just have to order a whole new muffler. Use a buddy code to save a little.

Then you'll have 1 plate and a backup muffler. That plate should last several mufflers unless you REALLY smack the ground hard and directly on the muffler.

You might even be able to sell the muffler without the plate to someone who already has a plate and just wants a spare muffler.

Just throwing out some options.

Gassers Rule, Nitros Drool, Electrics...uhhh...Joule?

That is very true. I know I have the old header somewhere. But this is what I can do for you rcnut to get you in the air quickly. I have an extra brand new RJX muffler never used as a backup. I could send you the brand new header to get you in the air and if you get another muffler in the future sometime you can send a header back. But no rush as I have never seen a header go. I hate to see you lose flying time because of a header. Let me know.

Ok... It is probably a good idea to have an extra muffler anyways as I do in case a muffler spits open or melts. My first split open but my second has been fine for a long time.
