At this point, my understanding is that the nitro models are still made by TT, and available through HRP Distributing. HRP is reputable according to my LHS owner.Rob

No Biggie
I fly my X50 all the time. Sweet heli...
I have enough parts to repair 1, maybe 2 crashes. When I can't get stuff for this model? I'll get something else. Just like I did with Gohbee, Outrage & MA.

The problem for me is that when parts are no longer available we are not going to be able to sell them. It's going to be a big losse. No one will won't them.love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you

You're right, Joe, but the problem has been than the truth is very unclear to most. Thunder Tiger still makes the kits and parts. The models weren't discontinued by TT - just no longer handled by Hobbico. Too bad TT has not been very smart to make clear to modelers what is going on. I was never thrilled with Hobbico for anything anyway, and will source my parts from TT Taiwan, or where ever I can through HRP.

As modelers, we're the last to know anything.

It looks like they are just changing US distributors again. Tower is discontinuing products but the other distributor will pick up in February. It would have been nice if TT support would have answered the numerous people who asked them what was happening when they obviously knew. Why the big secret?

I think they only have the X50F and X50E now, but the belted parts are available.

If you look hard, you can find new B's.

The conversion is $75 at Tower. You will also need a new tail boom bracket (the thing at the rear of the frames).E820, Raptor G4N, X50F/E, E620, Forza 450, and some planks.

Thanks I'm right in assuming the tail boom is longer on the x50 and Titan se than the original raptor 50

Does anyone knows where could I buy a pv1311, main gear for an X50?

Ron Lund is out, HRP does not even list it.

TIA
