just think of how much it would cost to nail down this COL index alone, much less set and administer the raises.
There is nothing to administer idiot.

The "Cost Of Living Index" is already produced. Just Google it.

Yearly wage increase are based on that each year across the country. Not with each and every company or corporation or wage level. But, definitely most of them.

All the years I was a wage earner, my yearly raises were based on the COL for what area I was working in and how well the company did the previous year. Thats the way it is.

But, minimum wages are excluded from the "Cost Of Living Index"

Kinda stupid ain't it?

I see. Hrm. And implementing all this as a substitute minimum wage law is "smaller government", less cost and complexity to the Taxpayer, and less intrusive than a simple dollar cap on the minimum hourly wage how, exactly?

Wow, reading comprehension is definitely not a strong point of our liberal friends. No wonder the democrats can pull the wool over their eyes so easily.

Well when your Conservative opponents can barely read and write, yes, some extra care has to be taken to unravel what they're trying to tell you. Or pull on you, would be a more descriptive term.

Because the "Dollar Cap' for minimum wage remains the same. Sometimes for years. That pisses people off. Its no wonder.

If the minimum wage was tied into the COL each year, those people would get a raise each year just like everyone else.

But, thats not the case. Instead, the minimum wage is used as a political football (always by the left) to kick around foolishly and irresponsibly.

Liberty once lost, is lost forever.

So you're not only proposing a more complicated system (administered by the government) that has risks of increasing inflation, you're also proposing an ever higher minimum wage as time goes on!

Now.. lessee...Hang on here.. Now, what consequences of higher MW's were you just whining about earlier? Ah, yes, the inflation thingy. Additional costs to small businesses, lost jobs, raised prices.. all these horrible consequences of a higher minimum wage. Won't your proposal actually make those problems worse? Not to mention the higher taxes for administering the more complicated system?

There is no cost you idiot by using an existing COL system and passing a simple law tieing the minimum wage into it. Where is the increased government. Its a simple bureaucracy move thats done everyday by government.

That was in reference to doubling the minimum wage law to $15 bucks an hour overnight like what was done in Seattle. Thats ridiculous and WILL cost people jobs and increase prices across the board. Normal tasks performed by a minimum wage like that is just stupid and irresponsible. Everyone looses through layoffs, plant closings, company closings and/or relocation's (sometimes overseas once again) and possibly automation of jobs normally performed by people will be performed by machines instead. Companies do have to control costs and compete out there. They have to in order to survive.

"This was long talk about in the 2000 when consumer bargain going troughs the roof while the minimum was less than 7.50
then the Government subsidiary has increase a bit that's all way getting attacked by republican in the house.

The Democrat was always want to increase the minimum it's the right that drag it into political climate all the time as far
as I could remember, as its was unfair for companies to pay
even when they re not profitable.

But none of them complain when they continously being profitable and have to be force to make concessions troughs the unions or court martial to stipend their employees.

And Dennis becomes a Liberal! Check it out. I personally actually agree that a COL adjustment is a decent approach. Mainly because you're wrong about the inflation fears, like your nonsense below:

Sure it was just in reference to the $15 cap. You've whined this same whine about any MW adjustment using the same garbage reasoning. I think you'd rather the MW go back to $3.35/hr where it was when we were in the MW labor market, and have it stay there. I've never met a Conservative who didn't secretly really want that and only grudgingly submitted to any MW increases.

Is that right? That doesn't sound like your very own work description, which you just rendered as the following:
Simply stated, I spend most of my days at work explaining things to over educated idiots like you that can't apply what they know to anything
Sounds like you have a lot of trouble explaining and understanding things. Consumes most of your day, does it not?

Not with the people on the shop floor just the IT geeks and other office personnel that can't understand anything not on a computer and think that they know everything about everything.
We actually have some good engineers that actually do understand more than just numbers though. That is a blessing!
