Gyro for large gasser
I am finally nearing completion of the fibreglass scale body so the four year old machine and electronics is in need of a refresh.

I currently have two CSM SL 720 gyros (one for elevator and one for aileron) for stabilisation on the 800 size coaxial). I was wondering what to Gyro to use - the SL 720’s have done a great job – but I want to update and reduce the complexity as this setup also requires the Cyclock (which provides CCPM mixing)

The current setup with two CSM 720 gyros uses a 401 Gyro for the tail. This has to be set in rate as the rudder function constantly changes as it feeds into the top rotors to vary pitch for Yaw
The options I am considering (as I have access to these for testing) are:
1) Skookum 360 and retain the 401
2) Skookum 540 and set the internal gyro to rate
3) Skookum 720BE plus GPS to assist with position hold when working winch / water bucket
4) Bavarian Demon 3SX – with Horizon mode 1

Would appreciate some feedback as to which would best handle the vibrations on large gasser motor
