Crazy price of 130x tail grips
After a few weeks now with my 130x I am really starting to like this heli. I went through issues loosing tail gears until I replaced the torque tube with the Lynx CF torque tube. I was getting in some decent flying today but as luck would have it I clipped a tree in the front yard a broke the ball link off of one of the tail grips. I was shocked to see that these little plastic grips cost $9.99! That is outrageous My Guai X3 plastic tail grips are $3.99 and it uses at least four times the material. What gives Blade? Cut us a break.

I changed to the lynx double bearing slider as it comes with its own plastic links and you can buy them separately as well, a little bit of cost upfront for the ally parts but a good investment over the std item.

I hear you Dog. It just irks me that Blade wants to gouge us so badly on the micro heli parts. It's no different on any of my Blade micros. Even plastic main blade grips for my Nano CPx are $9. Just outrageous! I guess I am going to have to quit crashing so much . I do love my micros and they are fairly crash worthy but dang! I am left with paying very high prices for aftermarket cnc stuff that will last longer or paying ridiculous prices for cheap pieces of plastic that break far too easily.Sweet Blades (Logo 600SE) and the Micro Harem - 4 x MCPX BLs | MCPX v2| 2 x NCPX | 130X | Trex 150

I agree the price on some of the parts is silly, but I don't have many stock items left on mine now, but you think your getting robbed, we pay £10 over here for the slider to get those little links, so equiv $16

I wonder if they would like to comment on why their spares prices are so exorbitant.

Expensive because people keep buying them, loads of them. Demand sets price.Enjoy things that money can buy IF you don't lose the things money can't buy.

U can use walkera v120D02 tail section but it's in reverse (trailing edge) 130X copied their design but the walker has bigger "balls" on their tail blade grips and it's only $3.99. They also make a slipper clutch so it won't strip your tail gears (if ur still using plastic) if it get tail blades caught on grass.

U can use the walkera tail servo mount with their tail servo (since it is reverse) and will make it work. A bit tricky but will be worth it. I did this 2 yrs ago and still gives me 130X nightmares. LOL

The v120d02 is a 1S with enclosed servo and its tail is solid. They do make upgrades to 2S. So all HH was turn it into a hot rod. Like taking a Pinto and shoving a corvette motor into it.

I still have about 5-6 sets of walkers tail blades grips and etc if anyone wants to go down that path. Also some good 3-1 boards tapped for external ESC with a CC 10A ESC with GOV. PM me

I wish I hadn't seen this post because now I have to rant along with the rest.
Let me start by saying my 130x has been one of the better ones and from the tail gearbox case forward, I really haven't had to do much. I have had two main blade grip ball arms break mid flight and that's about it. No electronics issues.
Now in the tail area, its a whole other issue. That section is a maintenance pig!
That's cool, whatever, its a high stress area and a lot of micro plastic bits are really being pushed beyond there limits and in reality hold up OK.
But Horizon, you have to be EFFIN kidding me! Quit supplying bearings with there associated plastic part! Just because a blade grip broke doesn't mean I need the bearing that goes to it.
In another attempt to move em' out and dropped the price down to $199 in your crash and dump page. You wouldn't have to do this is you would have just made it a little cheaper to initially purchase and not placed such a astronomical prices on the spare parts.

I just bought a 300 CFX for many reasons but one of them is its parts are cheaper then the 130x. I suspect the 300 CFX will permanently ground the 130x, just like the 130x grounded my MCPX's.

The 130x will soon die and go down in history as on of the greatest micro heli's out there.
