Trex tail boom fix
After reading a lot of forum posts on tail boom slippage and not really happy with some of the fix's to the problem I decide to try another method were I removed the tail boom block and separated each half and decide to file both faces of each block half were they meet. After running the file over each face I noticed high spots on both faces i was anitially going to take a small amount of each face to hopefully tighten the boom. In the end I decided just to file down the high spots until I had a flat face on both blocks and reassemble the tail block and boom and found the problem fixed the block now grips and holds the boom the way it was desined to do "tight without movement". I have used the same method on both my trex 250 and both now hold tight were I position them.
If you are not crashing you are not flying :-)
