scale multi blade
I gotta say I'm not at all into the multi blade machines but WOW that full scale is some stable in the air. Pretty bad ass, But still not my cup of tea. Nothing beats the look of scale conventional helicopters. Some of the members on RR have some beautiful scale machines too! One day I will have one too..cool videos though!

Could be made into something neat!
This does give me a few ideas....even though I too am more of a scale person but think about it....take a 500 E/C/D or a MD, put 4 carbon tubes coming out of the dog house and make them a little longer then the one in the video, mount all the speed controllers and electronics inside the fuse, mount the GPS dome so it comes up and out of where the head would be so it looks like the radar dome on a Apache. Use carbon tubes and carbon blades and paint the chopper in camouflage. I think it would look pretty cool even though it's not scale....or at least not scale at this point. I'm sure someone had the "Notar" idea way before it ever went full scale so anything is really possible. Mark

Might as well cut off the tail and just leave a pod hanging below the quad.

I'm referring to the poor brave soul willing to jump in the seat of that "Multi bladed" monster...!!
I would do it, just not more than a few feet high.
I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
