wookong vs Naza V2 pros and cons ?
anyone know if the WKM is that much better over the Naza V2 just wanted to know if it's worth $$ to use on anything smaller than 1m multi.

I have both and have flown both on a 550 and 700 hex. The only difference I see is the POI mode on the WKM. I find POI very useful for shooting video.

I have 3 WKM's and 2 naza-V2's. My spare WKM (my other 2 are in S800 airframes) is in one of my F550's and one of my Nazas is in the other F550 (both configured with the E300 power system).

I can't really tell any difference between them. The WKM with the V2 IMU I think has an eeeeever so slightly better loiter in GPS mode and that's about it. In atti and manual mode, they're identical with the same gain settings.

So on a smaller multi I see no reason to spend the extra on the WKM, really, unless you need the extra features.

Take a look at the A2 if you are looking at a WKM. It is better by far over the WKM. I will say that the WKM is a well proven platform and subject to few problems. Most guys like flying on v5.22 of the firmware.

I would but it's above my pay grade at this time maybe in the future I could get one.

just need something solid to start with. I had an old Naza M but looking to upgrade to the latest equipment within my budget.

thanks for all the great info guys.

I have the 5.24 FW in my WKM's and haven't noted any trouble with it. And yes the WKM is a mature product with a mature firmware, so it's a great controller from that standpoint.

But the A2 is going to catch up in terms of fixes/improvements to its firmware, so it's just a matter of time on that....

The built-in receiver is what intrigues me about the A2, since that eliminates an entire box from the installation...

The only real advantage on the WKM for a sub-800 class multi is the waypoint count. If you are not using the system to fly waypoints, then it's a wash. WKM has 50 waypoints, NAZA has 16.

Some say the WKM is more stable in high winds, but that is hard to quantify with a smaller, lighter airframe.
