My TDR need a large stable mate!

I'm really thinking of a Triabolo, but not too sure...they are just so cool looking.

I'm really just interested in sport flying, perhaps a little mild 3d someday.

Thinking someone with Diabolo and Triabolo can tell me the differences in how they fly...Jeff...I might be talking to you

It's going to be some time before the new Hense' releases, I'd say go-for-it

I dearly-miss my first MiniCopter ;

Can't wait to see a new heli in the fleet, Chet... Are you planning your next winter project, or will you pull the trigger sooner than that?

I have both and they both fly great. The Tri is more graceful for sport flying, I love the way it feels. The Diabolo fly great also, I've only flown my friends Diabolo though, I'm waiting for my motor to come in. The Diabolo is faster than the Tri and feels a little more nimble. I hope that helps, if you can't decide , get both or you can get a Diabolo and get a Tri head later on to try.

Don't know yet, Pascal!
Not in a hurry, you know how long it took me to do the TDR start to finish. Just thining about it so far. I might consider a used Diabolo and do the new TDR this winter...if I get it by then.

I know Tommy, the new TDRs are the main thing holding me back, but I think I'd like to be able to compare the TDR and Diabolo personally.

Hello

The Triabolo would be a great heli choice for you since have have the TDR.

The Triabolo is super smooth and fun to fly.

The only difference is the head. You also have very limited blade options for the Triabolo...I believe that there is only one specially made NHP set that Gerd recommends. Please confirm...

In regards to feel, it does feel a bit different than a 2 blade...nothing negative just a tad different. I also found that it bit the air a little differently when doing aerobatics.

You will be amazed by the quality of the machine when you finally get it in your hands!

Thanks Carlo, nice flying...my style!

NO S, Jason...I couldn't handle anything that fast.

But I might have to get a Tri...pretty cool!

The Diabolo S is for a speed freak.

"I'm really just interested in sport flying, perhaps a little mild 3d someday."

The Triabolo is prefect for what he wants to do and it's different.

If you want to try high-speed flight then put a big motor and 14s on the TDR and you'll go fast enough...but you won't beat a Diabolo S

So, JRAY...
Let's see if I got this straight...

You're a "speed freak" and a "quitter"...?
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.
