OK, I'm fairly new to iKON and to the Jeti Mezon 130 ESC I'm trying to set up. I've worked through several issues thanks to a few knowledgeable folks here and elsewhere. I have a new issue now :arggg: When I pump the pitch on the bench the iKON seems to "glitch", servos freeze for a couple seconds, DSMX sats blink and come back on, then it's back to normal. Every time I increase and decrease pitch, repeatedly, I get this hiccup. When it's spooled up and I do this, in addition to the glitch, the motor slows and quits, then comes back up. Obviously happy I found this before I maidened the TT E700 today!! I'm running the throttle and "auxiliary/programming" wire into the throttle port and an open port respectively, so voltage is split between two inputs.

Can anybody w/ Mezon 1300 and/or iKON experience help me out? The weather is too nice to be inside fixing problems- I need to go fly! ;-)

Thanks!!

Protek 250Ts on cyclic. Powering the iKON via Mezon SBEC which is set at 7.4V

Any ideas? Thanks!!

One additional note- this happens even when moving the pitch up and down slowly

At the suggestion of a very knowledgeable Jeti Mezon user, I tried plugging one cyclic sevo at a time, to see how it worked. I got the glitch, brown-out, whatever, with every individual servo. I can't believe that one servo would draw so much as to cause this problem.

The other thing is that I didn't have this issue during the initial set-up and testing. I could pump the collective as fast and as long as I could with no issues. I went back to it yesterday and got this weird problem.

I also tried monitoring the amp load on the Jeti-box while moving the collective with all three servos attached and didn't see anything close to 2A on the display.

So, can I attach a receiver battery to the iKON, in addition to the SBEC on the Mezon 130 ESC? Will I have to turn the SBEC off somehow? Does this even make sense considering the output of the Jeti Mezon 130 SBEC? Starting to think I should go back to my old Castle and a receiver pack feeding the iKON.
