I built the heli new last year and the tail was locked in with 7200bx with the stock plastic blade grips. I switched to the quick metal blade grips Readiheli sells and I am getting a slight wag but not bad. I went through the limits setting again and tried lowering travel but it is still there. Would going closer to the center of tail servo with ball help? No binding things are smooth. Any help would b appreciated.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

I don't know what it is about the Quickuk tail grips but I haven't seen anyone who didn't have trouble with them...not a one. Kinda strange because I've found that metal grips blow away plastic ones. Quickuk stuff seems pretty good generally so it's weird.

I do know the grips Bob made for me for my 600SX are working flawlessly. Paired them with the solid aluminum Speedix tail block and am totally happy with the combo.

I do not know why I went away from the stock ones, it flew so smooth. I think this is the only heli I have seen that does not need any upgrades. If anyone wants to try the metal I will trade for the plastic tail blade grips.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

Make sure they are on correctly and not backwards. I had the same issue with the same grips and stupid me put them on backwards.

You also have to make sure you have the Logo 600 grips and not just the "600 sized" heli tail grips. The Logo ones have a slight offset that will not allow you to have too much travel.
Begs the question though, why go away from the stock grips when they are lighter and can handle 105s without issue now? Put em back on

+1 for stock. Had the quick UK grips and the Bearings failed quickly.
Maybe why they call it quick......

Went back to stock parts and all is well with her now. For something to be about all plastic its the most smoothest helies I have ever flown.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

Indeed, metal parts are a lot more difficult to get right. Sometimes the KISS principal works out.
