I paid less than half price for my 10S 4400 65C, so far I am very pleased with them, and at 50% of retail, they feel like a good value? I don't need 65C for performance, but I am hoping it will help them deal with the Florida Summers...

My turnigy 6s5000 30c were good, thunderpower 65c stunk, Gens ace 30c are best so far. I just ordered some hv 70c 6s 5500 from revolectrix for only 100 each on sale, those should be even better.

It's all marketing hype! The more we fall for it the higher the manufacturers will claim their packs are! I don't even trust some packs capacity let alone their C rating! Take Aligns 3s 2250mah 50C packs at around 175g, can anyone show me a similarly spec'd pack that is lower than around 190g let alone 175g?????

60% of the time, it works every time!

In my testing, on the smaller birds, like 6S and 3S 450s, the C rating of the smaller packs, like small mAH is almost always a crock of chit! The 6S 1100-1450 pack can not deliver the current they are rated for on my setups...

Where as some of the 3S packs do a pretty good job of dropping some big numbers on the current side, but the voltage sag is more noticeable because of the lower starting voltage...

From what I see the c rating does make a difference. I have 45 c packs and 65c packs all made by the same company. As far as power wise I see no difference. They both do everything I ask of them. The difference I see is after flying them the 45c packs come down quite a bit warmer than the 65c packs. I burn the same amount of mah out of both packs I like the 65c better just because of the fact the run cooler and we all know heat kills packs. This is my opinion
