Hey guys this is really wierd, i just finished setting up a goblin 630 with a brand new vbar silver-line with pro. I have set up a few vbars now and am pretty familiar with the process. BUT, i have a very odd problem. My tail is responding in the wrong direction.

In the TX settings every channel responds correct as i move there sticks and watch the monitors. The sensor mounting direction is correct. WHen i then move the rudder with my control the tail is moving in the correct direction, but when i grab the heli and move it, the tail is not responding correct. Its going with the movement rather than adding deflection to fight it... I can NOT figure this out. Its like the sensor mounting step is wrong, but its not, Really would love any input.

It does sound like a sensor mounting issue...you have it configured as label face down, cable towards the tail?

Sure do, I was just told I need to check and make sure the vbar software and firmware on the actual vbar match, it has to be a software issue, everything is configured correct

That sounds right.
Any chance you used an Andriod app to set it up. I saw a case just like this when setup with an Android. Got home and hooked up to a PC and then it took the sensor mounting setting properly.

Can you upload and post your v-bar file so we can look at it? Your sensor selection should be the one on the bottom right based on how you installed the sensor.

Reverse the servo in the vbar software. This will make the vbar respond correctly, then reverse it in your tx if necessary. That sounds counter intuitive, but that's how it has to be done.

That is what I was going to suggest is what Craig said but I didn't want to look like an idiot if I was the only one to say that. Now that he said it I will agree with him as I have ran into that.

^^^Yep, I bet that will fix it!

If he does this, then the response in the TX setup tab will be backwards. It sounds more like something wrong with the sensor orientation. Better to look into that.
