The head block is the same but new feathering shaft with new thrust bearings. Let me double check that.

Ok ok you are taking about the head block with new side reanforcment . That actual came out months before 450l . It's much better then the orignal block. I would still get the feathering shaft.

The old non clamping headblock will move a bit on the mast. The new clamping one is solid.

The new feathering shaft is great. Be sure to read the instructions, the thrust bearings go in differently.

Yes they do, I had a set of grips that had "dents" in them, fromn the blades folding back doing autos, so I could not get the Radials out, the thrust bearing work the old way, just make sure you get it shimmed right!

Hi Willy,

I had the same problem. I used a rounded punch to flatten out the dent so the bearings can come out. The aluminum is pretty soft so it didn't take too much.
