vario big jetranger electric
I have a vario big jetranger benzine mechanics converted to electric. Iam using a Scorpion 4035 330kv 12s setup with original clutchrunning 800mm main blades with flybar.

What is the best head speed to run on this model. I want to use a Kontronik jive 80 hv with heatsink fitted and have been told this will rate it to 120 will this speed controller work without stressing it or do I need to get a larger esc.

Thank you.

That esc is fine for this machine. Remember Jive HV esc's are rated at a constant output IE; an 80HV can run at a constant 80 amps. The addition of the heatsink typically allows a higher output rating, as the unit runs cooler. I would shoot for a headspeed in the 1200 rpm range.

All helis and planes have an expiration date stamped on them...you only find it after you crash!!
