It was a vector

Watch at YouTube

The Vector W8 utilized an automatic Oldsmobile TM425 Transaxle mated to a Twin-Turbo CAN-AM modified Chevrolet small block V8 engine.

I don't get the point of this car and video, dragsters and funny cars can do over 300 mph in less than a 1/4 mile for years and both are made in the USA. The car only went in a straight line and claims to have a Chevy engine. I’ll bet the Chevy engine is as custom (non production) as a dragster engine.

A funny car is not street legal. And don't burn gasoline.

It is a production engine for their car.

I will tell you 1 thing, that would be the last car I would put that engine in, I would put it in a 69 or 67 Mustang

You mean it belongs in an hi-tech environment Gearhead at 270 m.p.h with a few bends thrown in do love the mustang though, but 1200 horsepower through a live rear axleLe Mans would be a great test and proving ground for the LoTom
