I have a Triton 2 charger and need to charge some 6s Thunder Power batteries. However I need a balancer so which type will work. Also, is a Triton 2 a very good charger?

I thought the Triton chargers maxed out at 3S? I have one that I bought when I had my Trex 450 a long time ago... Great charger, but limited to lower cell packs.

No mine will do 6s. I have a smaller triton in which that may be the case.

That's the one I have but it isn't compatible with my Thunder Power batteries due to incompatible balance plugs.

Get a new charger. The Triton2 is a cludge for balance charging.. I know, I own two of them. He said Triton2 NOT Triton2 EQ

Get a true modern lipo balancing charger.
