That's the second video I've seen that shows issues with stability at takeoff. Feedback I'd give is that they need to work on their detection of ground contact and how it reacts versus when in air.
Otherwise, it looked to fly decent.

tail fin got hooked in the grass

and the 700 works great after the advice you gave me on the extra
power lead and i upgraded the owb to the kde
now i am dialing the 700 in 2 more flights and i should be ready
to sim this sucker

Bob I run two of these currently and my buddy has the in all his birds from a 450 to a new 700 and there are no stablity issues . What we found is its usually just in the setup or the servos .....

After re-looking at the video, I see the tail does get caught up there.
Anyway, I wasn't bashing or anything. Just offering some constructive criticism. Some gyros detect the ground better than others and this could be an area for the programmers to work on. Having said that, I don't fly my helis on the ground anyhow.

Bob I did not take it as a bash . Just posting my experience with this unit . It actually works rather well .After hearing all the early horror stories about FBL controlers I did not believe myself until my buddy started to fly them and they really proved themself to me . Thats when I bought a few to try out . Then add to the fact that they are a breeze to setup and adjust ...these things are really cool

yea those horror stories lol folks told me to stay away from the s2

and i pulled my hair out til i figured out i needed to use the recommended servos

but now the s2 is one of my favorite gyros.
