BNF Goblin 700 modded to new Speed.. kinda..sell or trade for a Triabolo. SOLD! [size=small]I want to buy a Triabolo.. and in order to do so, I need to make room. I have a strict 3 large heli limit so here is what I have:This is an original G700 with original frames, it has the tail from the new speed/comp and the tail gearbox. It has the new Speed canopy which I made a mount for in order to make it fit properly to the frames. my modification makes it really easy to come off and on still and holds better than SAB's original design. It also has the safety skids, and since i didn't have to use the speed frame conversion, there are no ugly little feet hanging out of the canopy, of course this means the fish fins can't be installed unless you want to land on the canopy.. but I'm sure someone handy with a dremel could fix that up if you ever wanted those ugly ass things on your heli. I also have 770 frames that will go with it, they are the same as comp/speed frames only .5mm thicker. those paired with the speed conversion will make it just like all the other Goblin Speeds out there. Here is my conversion thread:https://rc.runryder.com/t750509p1/I also modified the CC160HV ICE2 to fit the ESC and tray to fit each other better. It never gets hot now.n that thread is herehttps://rc.runryder.com/t747190p1/I bought the G700 last summer while I was deployed. I made a deal with the owner and then he suffered a terrible lipo fire in his garage which gave the Goblin some smoke damage due to the heli being hung on the wall and the smoke choosing that route to exit the garage. the damage was cosmetic.. we re-worked the deal and I still bought it.. and I am glad I did. I had to get a new canopy and clean all the parts with CLP, but I had plenty of time to do so. Being a helicopter crew chief myself, I knew the importance of a thorough inspection so the entire helicopter was torn apart.. every last nut and bolt came out and was inspected and mostly replaced. I also bought all new bearings and replaced as necessary. That story being told, I have made hundreds of flights with this helicopter since being rebuilt with zero issues. The main shaft has some pitting in it, and I bought a new one to replace it, but never have. This is what the helicopter will come with:
- Goblin 700 airframe modded as in threads - Edge mains and tails - Scorpion Limited Edition 4530-540 Speed record motor. A lot of the coloring came off of this motor, so it is not as pretty as it once was, but was gone through and everything works as it should. - CC160HV ICE2 modified as shown in thread - Torq 9180's on the cyclic, 9188 on the tail - Cooling motor mount - silverline vbar w/pro - 2 JR DSMX sats spare parts to include all pulled parts - - g700 full tail setup - tail gear box/tail fin/mechanics - g700 spare orange canopy - a little cracked up, but still shines nicely in the air - DFC head and swash (I stole some ball links off of the swash) - 1 main belt and 1 tail belt - new bearings that were not changed in the kit - battery trays - old motor mount - new main shaft - misc spare parts - Goblin 770 used frames - I bought these for when I do the big belt conversion sometime down the road, and the speed canopy will already fit!I want $1700 for this, or if you are a doll and want to do gift throughout PP.. I'll do $1650. This slightly negotiable and if it does not sell, and I half hope it doesn't, I will up my limit to 4 large heli's. I have enjoyed this heli immensely and I will miss her if she goes. Here are a few more pics I just took. If you would like more, and are seriously interested, PM me and I will give you my number and we can talk for real and I will send you whatever pics you want. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
