Where are you guys finding flybars for SDX/Evo besides RC Japan?
I bent my last new one from moving these heli's around the shop. Just wondering where you might be getting these besides RCJapan.?? I know I can bend it back straight but I have found that I always get a slight vib or the blades just don't track perfect like I like if there is just a slight bend because it throws the paddles off just a little. I thought this was a new one and started to notice a slight vib so I took it off today and sure enough, small bend, these Hirobo flybars are like butter anyway.

Thanks

I've got them.Part 107.
The only ZERO flight hour certificate in the world.

I would never bend a flybar back to straight and use it...it work hardens and becomes more brittle, inviting a failure.

They sure do bend easily. I use to think it bent from gravity. But I adjusted my handling procedures. It was my own carelessness bending them. That said, FWIW I have never had a flybar failure on a Hirobo. Hundreds of flights between crashes. Stiffer not necessarily better.

Just watch your handling.

As for replacement. Can't help you there if you are "besides rcjapan." I only get parts from rcjapan. Until someone rolls along and offers parts in America on A CONSISTENT basis. I'm just not going to reward a company that offers SOME parts for my Hirobos but not enough to keep them in the air. It just doesn't cut it. I'm not going to shop around to see what's "out of stock" at all the American companies.

Yeah, I'm jaded. Need one stop shopping. I only see one option.

Thanks guys, I never had a failure either with even the ones I bent back, now were not talking one bent like a horseshoe or something beyond hope, Iam talking just a bump and you see it drooped and give it a slight upward pull or downward to straighten it. I guess I have to handle my heli's better and be more careful, these flybars might be priceless one day....D. Lee.....t.Born again.t.....

Replace the support bearings for 4mmID and drill out the control arms to 4mm and use any 4mm FB you like. Much less prone to bending for minimal increase in weight. Plenty of good 4mm paddles out there too.
