I want to know how do I set my head speed up to run 1700 -1900 . something real slow and smooth per dave 2200-2300 is head speed for the pro's3d pilots. I have kontronik jive 80 hv vbar, logo600sx hk4035-450 motor 11 pinion. Do I have to do this in my radio set my head speed, vbar or kontronik.o yeah is tbere any maintenance parts that I should stock

Easy, Start with the throttle curve with 65% L, 65% M, 65% H.
Ask someone to tach you and see the RPM that your are getting, if you are over your RPM Goal, reduce the percentage to 60% and check again, if is you are low, you increase instead of decreasing.
That is the reason I love Kontronics, easy to work with.

Do you have someone to help you program the Jive 80HV?

If you don't you want to get online and find some videos...
There are some helpful videos on Mr Mels site

Do you know why you picked those numbers for the Throttle curve, or are they guesses?

Here is a link to the HS calculator I use, it is not perfect, but it gets you in the ballpark!
